The release date of the popular Galaxy Note 8 is August 23rd, but rumors about the phablet have been going around for ages. The detailed specifications were not shared yet, but a recent mega leak revealed them all. To your utmost disappointment, this phone is barely different from the Galaxy S8.
One of the most reliable leakers in the tech world, Evan Blass, posted the expected final design of the Note 8 a while ago. The same guy has now revealed the finals specs for this most anticipated phone on VentureBeat.
Evan Blass reveals the specs as,
This phone will be powered by Exynos 8895 processor, same as rest of the S8 phones around the globe, except in the US where Note 8 will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835. Since both of the chips are using 10nm FinFET fabrication process, their performance is quite comparable. Note 8 will enjoy a RAM upgrade though; a 6G standard along with 64 GB internal storage.
The two rear cameras on the Note 8 feature 12-megapixel sensors with optically stabilized lenses that allow it to have a 2X zoom. The wide-angle lens has an f1.7 aperture with dual-pixel focus, while the telephoto lens is f2.4. The front selfie camera holds an 8-megapixel sensor with an f1.7 autofocus lens. The 3,300 mAh battery comes with the fast charging option, both via USB-C port or wirelessly.
Initially, only the Midnight Black and Maple Gold colors will be shipped, but the Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue colors will follow soon. Its expected price is around €1,000 in Europe ($900). So are you buying? Let us know in the comments section.
