Elon Musk is a wealthy individual and is famous for many reasons. The first one indeed is his wealth, where it comes from is simple, he is CEO of well known electric car manufacturer ‘Tesla.’ Alongside he owns other companies as well, SpaceX and Neuralink.
Despite being an essential figure in the tech relevant news, Musk is also famous for his blunt and overwhelming statements, sometimes over-ambitious. The rich and renowned Musk is quite an active individual on social platform ‘Twitter’ and likes to share his views regarding the significant current affairs.
Moreover, Musk often tends to share his opinions and, in a way, starts considering them as facts.
Musk Might Be Hiding Something He Knows:
Kara Swisher from ‘The New York Times’ happened to interview Mr. Musk this Monday. It was going all normal until the conversation came to the topic of Covid-19. It started getting fishy when Musk stated that neither himself nor his family would take the shots of a successful vaccine whatsoever.
When the representative from New York times emphasized asking the reason for deciding so, the famous Musk said: “Move On.” This raised curiosity for Swisher, and she, directly and indirectly, kept on asking as to why has he decided to stay away from the possible cure.
She repeated her question multiple times until the point where Musk got annoyed. He even warned to leave the interview if he was asked more coronavirus questions. However, he bluntly said one thing regarding not taking the vaccine that he is not at risk of getting it. In another reply, Tesla’s owner said that everyone would die anyway; hence it doesn’t bother me not to take the vaccine.
This isn’t the first time Musk shows a lack of interest in discussing one of the world’s most significant ongoing issues. Musk is of a belief that the whole panic surrounding the Covid-19 is just a dumb concept.
His views regarding the masses of the population at high risk due to pandemic was that the elderly segment of those societies and people with some medical history should take necessary precautions. The young and healthy individuals should carry on with their routine life, he stated.
His lack of concern on Covid-19, however, contradicts some of the involvements that his firm has had during the pandemic. Tesla has been producing CureVac vaccine machines, and Neuralink has been involved with Harvard epidemiology. This makes it clear that something substantial is going on, which the world doesn’t know.
