Elon Musk Wants To Create A City Called Starbase Around SpaceX’s Texas Test Site

SpaceX has its own rocket production and launch site facility in a Texas county. SpaceX CEO and billionaire Elon Musk has now approached its officials about developing a new city called Starbase, officials claimed.

Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño said Tuesday Elon Musk’s private spaceflight organization, SpaceX, approached them about Musk’s Interest in joining Boca Chica Village, where SpaceX is developing its new Starship rocket.

Treviño showed the region is available for joining, yet that the cycle should keep all state fuse rules and said the district would handle any petitions under the law.

On Tuesday, Musk said he wants to integrate “a region a lot bigger than Boca Chica.”
