Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, tweeted on July 28th. The tweet featured a video of one of his rockets creating sonic booms while re-entering the Earth. The amazing video that was shared by Elon offers views from four different angles of this amazing feat.

You can witness as the rocket coming from space makes its way into the Earth’s thick atmosphere while generating sonic booms and then lands accurately on a small landing pad. The Falcon 9 rocket was coming back to Earth after launching the robotic Dragon capsule from SpaceX to the International Space Station (ISS) on July 25th.

The capsule was carrying over 5,000 pounds of equipment and supplies to the International Space Station and will remain attached to the space station for about thirty days. The launch has marked the third time that the Dragon capsule was employed whereas the Falcon 9 rocket has made its second landing.

Reusing rockets is a huge goal that was put forth by Elon Musk. It is his belief that this will help in rendering space travel even more affordable. Here’s to hoping that all of his missions go as smoothly as this one! Meanwhile, check out the amazing tweet where you can witness the rocket making sonic booms.
