Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, is “considering” leaving his job and becoming an influencer, the world’s richest man tweeted on Thursday.
“Thinking of quitting my jobs and becoming an influencer full-time [what do you think],” the world’s wealthiest man tweeted to his audience of 65 million.
It is questionable whether Musk, a prolific online community member, was serious about leaving his jobs. During a conference call in January, he stated that he expects to be the CEO of Tesla for “several years.”
However, despite being the wealthiest man on the Forbes billionaire list, he stated that he would like to take some time off.
“It would be nice to have a bit more free time on my hands as opposed to just working day and night, from when I wake up to when I go to sleep seven days a week. Pretty intense.”
The billionaire is known for his witty tweets and lively discussions with his followers on Twitter, which have previously raised regulatory and corporate governance concerns. Naturally, therefore, we wouldn’t be shocked if Elon considered making a career out of being a full-time influencer.
Also, given that he just raised the possibility of selling a huge portion of his Tesla stock, it’s understandable that he’d desire to leave his current jobs. In addition, one of his major businesses is in bankruptcy, and he is being sued for $160 million by one of the world’s largest banks.
After all, he’s probably eager to make a reputation for himself through TikTok videos. Or, he might start a thirst trap Instagram for people who like to experiment with bizarre hairstyles. The possibilities for Musk’s influencer career are limitless!
