Elon Musk Says He Is Restricting Starlink In Ukraine Because It Could Cause World War 3

In recent news, Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, has reportedly warned that his company’s advancements in space technology could potentially lead to World War III. According to reports, Musk made the statement during a conversation with former NASA astronaut Scott Kelly.

“Ukraine desperately needs your continued support,” Kelly, a staunch Ukraine advocate, and regular Musk critic tweeted on Saturday. “Please restore the full functionality of your Starlink satellites. Defense from a genocidal invasion is not an offensive capability. It’s survival. Innocent lives will be lost. “You can help.”

“You’re smart enough not to swallow that and other propaganda [bullshit],” the Twitter owner responded. “Starlink is the communication backbone of Ukraine, especially at the front lines, where almost all other Internet connectivity has been destroyed.”

Musk implied that if Starlink continued to provide internet to Ukraine, the country’s military would use it to ratchet up its resistance to Russia, which has been leading its land-grab assault there for a year now and may eventually end in a world war.

The statement by Musk may sound alarming at first, but it should be noted that he was likely referring to the competitive nature of the space industry. As more and more companies, and even countries, begin to explore and expand their presence in space, the potential for conflict and competition increases. This is not a new concept, as nations have been in competition with each other for dominance in various fields for centuries.

However, Musk also stated that the benefits of space exploration and technological advancements far outweighed the potential risks. He highlighted the potential for space to provide solutions to issues such as climate change, energy scarcity, and overpopulation.

Furthermore, Musk has been a strong advocate for international cooperation in space exploration and has even collaborated with various space agencies, such as NASA and the European Space Agency.

It is important to remember that while the possibility of conflict in space is a real concern, it is not an inevitability. Many measures can be taken to mitigate these risks, including international agreements and cooperation.

In summary, while Elon Musk’s statement about SpaceX potentially causing World War III may sound concerning, it should be viewed in the larger context of the competitive nature of the space industry. It is important to continue working towards international cooperation and finding ways to ensure the peaceful exploration and utilization of space.
