President U.S’ twitter account was what appeared to be deactivated for 11 minutes on Thursday, around 7:00 p.m. eastern time.
Although the account was restored minutes after it got shut down, the disappearance didn’t go unnoticed.
“We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again,” tweeted by Twitter Government.

The investigations later lead to a Twitter customer support employee who had deliberately done this on his last day of work.
Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review. https://t.co/mlarOgiaRF

Having a huge band of 41 million followers, Trump uses his twitter account to deliver all kinds of political messages, from endorsing congressional candidates to criticizing celebrities for their political affiliations. The account repeatedly exhibited technical issues on Thursday night and the number of followers on the account steadily begin to decrease, reaching to a lowest of 5400 at around 9:40 p.m., which later restored back to 41 million again around 10 p.m.
Let’s just see what Trump has to tweet about this rogue employee.
