This Boeing 737 was procured from the Indonesian airline Batavia Air in 2015 for a whopping $5.28 million; however, the custom clearance took six months before the aeroplane could be brought into the country.  The plane was disassembled and reassembled at least eight times on its way to Wuhan.

Another unusual feature offered by the Lilly Airways is a flight simulator in the cockpit for the restaurant patrons. The children are kept entertained by the airplane-themed rides outside the eatery.

In addition to the cost of the aeroplane, the tariff and freight charges took the cost up to $8.2 million. Even excluding the cost of renovation and décor, Lilly Airways is one of the most expensive restaurants in the world.
