Bitcoin has gained huge popularity in 2017 and has been setting new records and then breaking them to set newer ones month after month. It recently hit an all-time high of more than $7,000. This has led to an increased trading of the cryptocurrency and an increased use of bitcoin mining machines. Two miners have come up with a unique way to use these bitcoin mining machines.

Bitcoin mining serves as the tangible way for private citizens interested in the cryptocurrency to experience all the benefits it offers. Siberian entrepreneurs, Ilya Frolov and Dmitry Tolmachyov are two such miners and they are using two of the mining machines to heat up their 20-meter square cabin. They are generating $430 per month as well in addition to using the machines as heaters.

You can see the video below:

With the outrageous amount of electricity being used by bitcoin miners, they give out a lot of heat. This heat is usually lost to the atmosphere. These Siberian entrepreneurs used this heat to warm their cabin and hope that people in Siberia will follow their example and use bitcoin miners to heat up their homes.

Pretty cool, isn’t it?
