Bentley has recently won the title of world’s fastest production sport utility. It was able to secure this with the Bentayga Speed. Bentayga Speed boasts 190 mph speed with a whopping 626 bhp and 664 pound-foot. It is slated to debut at the Geneva Motor Show that will be taking place next month. The Bentley’s Bentayga Speed features a huge turbocharged W12 engine that can go from 0 to 62 in under four seconds!
The new Bentayga Speed SUV is no different from the other vehicles that have come from the house of Bentley. The speed increases the output to 626 bhp (467 kW) with the turbo boost! For comparison’s sake, this is 26-hp more as opposed to the W12 Bentayga that was driven by Rhys Millen during his Pikes Peak climb. The W12 engine is capable of providing a torque of 900 Nm thus bringing the Bentayga Speed from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.9 seconds and offers a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h). On the whole, that is two-tenths of a second and 3 mph better than the standard model.
You can also observe some of the changes that have been made to the exterior of the Bentayga Speed. It features dark tint headlamps and a tailgate spoiler. The radiator has also been blackened as well as the bumper grilles. The 22-inch wheels are also available in three different finishes. The interior of the Bentayga Speed comes with Alcantara materials – which is a first for the Bentley. You can also find the Speed logos on the door grab and the seat cushion edges. The SUV has contrast stitching on the diamond quilting and also has an illuminated Speed treadplate signature.
Bentley also offers a variety of extra options that the user can choose from including carbon ceramic brakes, 22-way adjustable front seating featuring massage, mood lighting, carbon fiber fascia panels, and a rear seat entertainment system. The carbon brakes can reduce Bentayga Speed’s weight by about 20 kgs.
The Bentayga Speed comes with the same sport-tuned eight-speed automatic and the all-wheel-drive system. The Bentley Bentayga Speed is scheduled to go on sale during this year. We shall be bringing more details to you all once it makes its debut in Geneva. What do you think of this yet another amazing vehicle from Bentley? Do let us know!
