The new conceptual drone by Airbus is here to show off its features. Named Thunderbird Drone, the UAV is different from the usual commercial drones being used for photography or to catch your Pikachu.
Albeit being the smallest addition to the Airbus fleet, the Thunderbird Drone means serious business. Thunderbird Drone comes with a quad-rotor layout. The cargo drone has been designed following the aerodynamic airplane aesthetics.
A secure storage area inside the Thunderbird Drone makes it ideal for transportation of the emergency payload. Airbus aims to introduce its drone as the ultimate and the most reliable means of supplying emergency supplies like blood, food or water.
