$8 Million Worth Of Stolen Cars Just Got Crushed In Philippines

cars crushed

Crushing illegal cars publically has become a habit for the governments who want to teach its citizens a lesson. The latest video from the Philippines is perhaps the most brutal display of destroying expensive sports cars and bikes. Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte ordered to publically destroy 68 cars and eight motorbikes on 30th July 2018. The aim was to control the illegal import of vehicles and other luxury goods.

The cars which were crushed include a Lamborghini Gallardo, several Porche 911s, Pulsar GTi-R, a handful of Mercedes-Benz SLKs, multiple Nissan 350z, a Mustang, and an E60 generation BMW M5. There are many Nissan R34 Skyliners in the list as well.

This is not the first time when a government has taken action against the illegally imported vehicles. In 2016, the Taiwan government also crushed a Lamborghini Murcielago because it was also imported unlawfully.
