No one wants to update their Windows, EVER! It only seems to be a major inconvenience as it takes up a lot of your time, and usually ends up at having little or no apparent effect on the performance of your PC. Every time the Windows update reminder pops up, you just want to click on the ‘Later’  button again. However, updating Windows 10 with the latest creators update might be the best decision ever.

Have a look at these five most awesome tweaks in the most recent update that you wouldn’t want to miss at any cost.

1) Cortana Installation:

The latest update allows you to set up your new laptop or install a fresh copy of Windows 10, with Cortana by your side to help you through the process. Cortana will use the microphone and speakers on your device to listen and follow your commands, instead of using the traditional keyboard and mouse.

2) Game Mode:

Microsoft has focused on improving the gaming experience in the Windows 10 Creators Update. A new Game Mode is introduced in the Xbox app that will completely dedicate the CPU and GPU resources to your favorite game. This will stop all the background apps from hogging up the resources while making your gaming experience smoother and faster.

This feature also comes with the the Beam streaming (similar to Twitch), which allows the users to stream their gaming sessions to friends. For now, Game Mode needs to be enabled in every game, but soon it will be enabled automatically.

3) Picture Within A Picture:

Following the suit of iOS and Android, Microsoft has added a picture-in-picture support to its Universal Windows Apps. This will allow you to watch your favorite Movies and TV channels while working on your spreadsheets or placing a call on the Skype. Only some Microsoft apps support picture-in-picture at the moment, but it will be extended to more apps in the future.

4) Dynamic Lock

Dynamic Lock is in opposition to the new feature “Windows Hello.” It is known as “Windows Goodbye” and allows you to automatically lock a Windows 10 PC remotely, by pairing Bluetooth devices, like a phone or any wearable device. A great anti-theft and security feature indeed!

5) Paint 3D

The best part about the Microsoft’s Creators Update is the revamp of Paint into Paint 3D. This 3D version is a rebuilt and modern version of Paint that helps you to build amazing 3D objects and drawings, or import ones created by community members from Remix 3D.

This app is quite touch-friendly, and you can even use a stylus, like the Surface Pen to create art on a touchscreen. Either share it to the Remix 3D site or use it with the Windows Mixed Reality headset or HoloLens.
