Google Maps Will Soon Find You Parking Spots Near Your Destination

Driving to your favorite restaurant at a long distance only to find no parking spots, is the best way to ruin what could otherwise be a perfect day.
The latest beta version of Google Maps will guide you to best parking places around your destination along with turn by turn directions. The beta version v9.44.0 is available via APK Mirror download for devices with Android 4.3 and up.
Parking availability is included with the usual time and distance estimates when you search for driving instructions. A small ‘P’ icon tells if you can find a parking spot in the close vicinity of your destination. Along with the icon, it shows if the probability of finding the place is Easy, Medium or Limited.
Instead of using actual location data, the feature depends on typical traffic patterns. At the moment the v9.44.0 beta version is available in limited areas and only for public places like shopping malls and airports. Waze owned by Google has a similar function that is focused on finding lots.
Google is making efforts to keep maps accurate in real time. If that works out and parking data is added to it, finding parking spots will be a piece of cake.
