The best case scenario during a snow would be you sitting inside your home, comfortable while the best snow brush deliberately leaves the area where car is parked and falls in the surrounding.

Sadly this doesn’t happen, and you need to work your best to scrape snow off your car because “Common damage from improper snow removal are scratches in the paint,” says Bryan Burgess, owner of Mr. Sparkle Detailing in Long Island, N.Y.

This article lists the best-quality, sturdy and non-abrasive best snow brush that you can get off the shelf this week.

It snowed last night (May 7th), and I got to use it. It was never so easy to remove the ice on my car. The handle grip was excellent. Buy it now for next winter, and you will not regret it.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

This is a 50 inches curved pole made for scraping ice from windshield easily. The pivoting brush sweeps and pushes snow. The integrated ice scraper breaks through thick ice and snow and with the push of a button, the pivoting brush becomes a sturdy broom. The innovative design makes the snow removal easier. A good buy!

“My Dad found this brush at Walmart, but when I went to get one (in early Feb. in the Northeast-unbelievable!), both of the local stores were sold out & were not going to be ordering any more. I found it on Amazon, & had two in just a few days- just in time for the fifth storm of the season!

It seems a little much for a snow brush, but it is worth every penny. If they had put a brass scraper blade on it instead of just plastic & made a little stopper right after the pin that holds the handle together when you extend it,(because as it is right now, the handle can come apart completely), I would pay three times as much.

I am only 5′ tall with short arms & bad shoulders, so I have a tough time cleaning off the roof of our Subarus as they both have roof racks that make it hard to get all of the snow out from the middle of the ceiling. We try to get as much snow & ice off our cars, so we aren’t throwing snow back at our fellow travellers. Also, we are more visible if it’s still storming. It’s all in the curve of the handle. Can’t believe we haven’t seen these before this- so simple a cave man could’ve done it! Duh….! The brush head swivels as well, which gives you, even more, versatility.
My husband is 6′ tall; my old Dad is approx 5’8″ tall, & they both love it as well.

I recommend you purchase one & see how great this product is the next time you have to clean that snow off your vehicles! I’m going to take it to my physical therapist next week; she’s very interested to see if this can help her other patients as well.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

This is a 35 inches, premium-quality and ergonomically made snow brush by Mallory USA. It features five rows of bristle foam grip with colored anodized aluminum. A high-quality, durable and lightweight solution with non-abrasive technology makes scraping snow from your vehicle easier and fatigue-less. The unit also has an integrated scraper that breaks away tough ice.

“One the best brushes/scrappers I’ve noticed in a very long time. It’s shaft & soft brushes are unbelievably sturdy, unlike many others I purchased that are made of cheap plastic and the brushes (bristles) become unfastened and eventually fall out when all’s said and done. The aluminium shaft is 35″ long and appears to be very durable that could withstand wiping-off that heavy wet snow without breaking. Its ergonomic design with the foam grip creates a comfortable experience while wiping off the snow, which can be heavy at times. One other note, have you ever had a brush with bristles so rigid it scratched or scuffed the paint on your vehicle? These hairs appear to be very soft which in my opinion will not deface or scratch your paint job. I highly recommend the Mallory 999CT ULTRA MAXX 35″ Long Reach Snow Brush with Foam Grip-Clear Aluminum Handle, especially if you own an SUV with the higher roof lines, but it will function just as well with all standard vehicles.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

This is an innovative EVA foam brush made 36 inches long. With it’s non-abrasive technology, the unit won’t scratch your car. It removes more than a handful of snow at a time and has a handbrush and ice scraper on opposite sides. Keeps your car scratch free this winter with this ultra-durable and flexible brush.

“Just purchased one today at Home Depot in CT. Could not believe they have stock with all the snow we have had. They told me the shipment just came in. Instructions were fair to poor but still easy to assemble once you study the picture on the box and the instruction sheet. Tried it out today and it works well. The oval pole gives it a lot of strength and steadiness. The push button mechanism for extending the pole works great. DO NOT buy one of the adjustable poles that twist to lock. They jam and become stuck. I have had a few different tools with that type of locking device, and they are terrible. By the way, this one from Home Depot was $46.97, $49.95 after CT took $2.98 from my wallet. This tool worked very well and so far quite pleased compared to the one I have now that has three pieces you have to snap together. Sounds easy enough but it stinks dragging the three pieces through the house to my deck and then standing in the cold and wind putting it together. This one is nice!” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

This is a 51 inches long, ice scraper cum brush with quick lock extenter. The 8 inches brush head has one row of bristles surrounded by two rows of soft bristles that will keep your car scratch-free while offering equal throughput. It also has a dual-foam grip for maximum comfort and the ice scraper will break hard snow for subsequent brushing. Includes blades, ice-chipper, squengee.

“I had purchased a Hopkins extendable snow brush to help get the snow off the roof of my SUV. It worked so well that I decided to get one for my car as well. The pivoting brush head makes it easy to push or pull snow off the flat surfaces of the vehicle. I also got to use the more aggressive ice scraper to get 1/4″ thick freezing rain off the windows. It worked very well. The extension feature is quite handy. It allows you extra reach on an SUV or truck, but yet collapses down to a manageable size for storage. I would recommend this product if you need the extra reach to clear off larger vehicles, or need the stout ice scraper for freezing rain.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

3. Subzero Snow Brush ($4.99)

This is a 22 inches long, heavy duty brush for snow removal featuring an integrated bear claw blade. It has a soft molded ergonomic handle for comfortable use. The best tool for this winter as these snowbrooms are capable of pushing the wettest, deepest snow from your entire vehicle. Includes blade, ice-chipper and brush.

“Well, winter will be coming upon us, and rather than clean my car off with a magazine/modified cardboard box top, I thought a real snow/ice scraper would be handy. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, just enough to get the job done decently. For under $4 and free S/H with a minimum Amazon order, I think this is a good deal.

The picture pretty much is it. The construction is pretty sturdy. The entire length is about 1’10” and brush is just under 7″. The width of the ice scraper is about 4″. The handle is solid thick plastic with a hole at the top for easy hanging, though mine is going in the back of the car.

I did manage to crack the ice scraper at the very tip when testing out the “flexibility” of the scraper, but I do not think this should inhibit its functioning.

People who are very short/have short arms are probably not going to be able to clean off the top of the car or the middle of an SUV windshield very quickly with this, though.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

2. Subzero Snow Brush ($4.54)

This is a 23 inches long, ice hammer-snowbrush with a soft molded grip handle. This handle is designed to withstand UV rays for a longer time as opposed to a foam. The handle also repels water. It has a super flat blade for maximum window contact when scraping. The integrated ice chippers are built into the side to break tough ice. Its unique design allows you to reach farther places with less effort.

“This ice scraper is very well designed. It is sturdy enough to chisel through ice, and brush away significant amounts of snow. A lot of ice tools have chisels and brushes at opposite ends of the handle, which makes using the chisel cumbersome (since you have to hold the device by the brush). However, the Hopkins Ice Hammer placed both the chisel and brush at the same end of the device. Overall, I am very satisfied.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

This is a 26 inches long, high-quality and economical, snow brush with a foam grip. It features four rows of sturdy bristles and an integrated ice scraper that breaks away tough ice. A high-quality, durable and lightweight solution to your snow problems.

“This was a pretty good snow brush and scraper combo. The grip is probably the best part about it. The problem I have is that it is quite hard to scrape ice with a big snow brush on the other end. The brush is not bad, but it has already worn down a bit.

I still highly recommend it, as it is one of the better scrappers I have used.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.
