For those who generally comprehend what a 3D display means but aren’t sure what it actually means; a 3-dimensional display along with height and length have another axis defining them; a depth axis. These televisions convey the depth perception to the viewer by employing different techniques. Due to these 3-axis, you generally get a sense of oh-i-am-actually-in-it.

3D television sets were developed as early as 1935, but due to their poor quality, couldn’t get much popularity, but, boy, today is 2016, and you can read all about the top and best 3D TVs and their specifications in the article below. “Awesome television. Beautiful, clean design. White metal back, thin silver bezel, and the optical illusion of floating due to the base layout. Plus some cool mood lighting. And passive 3D, a built-in camera, Wi-Fi, an easy to navigate interface and great visual customization options. You can tell Panasonic learned a lot about digital imaging through its work on Lumix cameras. It shows. Even Steve Jobs might have approved of this tv.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“Hisense is giving big name brands a run for their money! We now own 3 Hisense TVs. I’ve always been a big fan of Samsung and trying a brand that was new to the TV market was a little scary; however, for all the bells and whistles that this TV offers stacked up against another brand with same features – this TV was half the cost! We’ve had the 46″ Hisense TV for about six months. The 65″ and a 42” Hisense, we’ve had for a little over a month. So far so good. Plug and play out of the box, but those who like to tweak I think just about everything in this TV can be! Also, we love all the inputs, and we are using most of them!

Can’t comment on Wi-fi features as we have ethernet wired in the house and the 65″ has our media centre computer hooked to it. TV sound is OK but lets’s face it – if you are considering a 65″ TV, you would likely have some home theatre system. Love the slim design and frame.

3D features are excellent! Even the 2D to 3D conversion looks great! It adds more depth to a 2D movie. But WOW – watch a movie that was actually filmed in 3D and things jump out at you! You can tell the difference between a movie that was “remade” in 3D versus a movie that was shot in 3D. Not the TV’s fault by any means – just sharing there is a difference. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of movies to choose from at this point that was filmed in 3D. Avatar and Step UP Revolution (the 4th movie in Step Up series) were filmed in 3D. There are some others, but these two are my favourites for 3D effects.

We are not usually “trail blazers” on new technology but when we saw the price of this TV compared to other brands with same features we thought we’d give them a try. To this point, we have not been disappointed. Exceptional TV for an excellent price!” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“Stunning 4K TV for the money. Put this TV next to an old HD Sony I was replacing. With normal HD streaming the upscaling gave a remarkably better picture. Of course, it’s not in the same league with an OLED TV, but at a 300% price premium for the latter, I will happily save the money for such a great looking and inexpensive television. Am completely happy with my purchase.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

It was easy to set up and the menus are intuitive. we are new to the whole smart TV concept but are learning quickly all the things it can do. Picture quality is great and the sound OK for a TV. It was a little pricey, but we wanted a 90″ and there aren’t many out there. We recommend it highly.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“I got this TV when it was on sale for $999, and I couldn’t be happier. I see Samsung Curved UHD TVs selling for as much as $2,500 – I can’t imagine how much better they can be than this model, as it is just about perfect in my opinion.
1. Simplest setup ever – I practically just plugged it in and synced it to Wi-Fi.
2. The UHD picture quality is crazy good! Crystal clear, and sharp colour separation. On the 1080p TV, I had before this one, any scene that was dark had a pixellated look – the shades of black weren’t smooth or creamy looking. On the Samsung, the blacks are smooth and creamy looking.
3. The menus are a breeze to work with. Without using any manual, it was easy to figure out how to go from TV to Netflix to Hulu. Speaking of which, Netflix has better picture quality than I have ever seen before!
4. On my old TV, when I wanted to watch something on the BluRay player, I had to select BluRay with the Input button on the remote. With the Samsung, once the BluRay drawer closes, the TV switches to that input and the disc starts playing. I can’t say enough good things about this TV. And for about $1000, you can’t beat it!” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“We’ve had this TV for several years now and never had any issues with it. I like Vizio products in general for their price, overall value and quality and I am glad we decided to buy this one. I do wish there were more apps available, but we have other ways to access the Internet through the TV, so it’s no issue at all.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“Oh Wow!!! Seriously, this replaces my 70″ Sharp Aquos, and the two are not in the same area code. So I don’t know if the TV is upscaling or not but the output looks much much better than the Sharp. We watched an old 80’s movie the other night, and it was incredible!! I honestly don’t see an advantage with the curved TV. I don’t see the curve in my living room so if you’re worried it is weird then don’t be. I bought a new Samsung Blu Ray DVD player that upscales all disks to UHD. Talk about an experience!! UHD for real!! So basically This TV finally and completely exceeds my expectations… Yes, it is expensive, but if you like watching movies then this is the TV for you!! So this TV has the One Connect box. What is that? All the inputs and outputs go through this device(box) with one input to the TV. In 5 years when outputs change, you swap out the box, not the TV. It has 4 HDMI, USB, optical audio, and many many other inputs/outputs. At first I thought this was just a gimmick but actually, it is kind of cool since there is only one actual input to the TV and all the inputs/outputs go into the box. There is also a Wii-like controller which I don’t often use but its cool. I like the apps, but the TV is just simply the best TV I’ve ever owned. The picture is simply amazing!” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

  7. Smart View 2.0 for Easy Mobile Streaming
  8. Precision Black Technology for Dramatic Contrast
  9. Contrast Enhancer for Improved Image Depth

“I purchased this TV about two weeks ago, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The picture is so clear that it makes you wonder how you lived with 1080p beforehand. But I will warn you it takes some time of working through all of its features before you get this picture. Out of the box it looks good but gives yourself an hour or so, and you will not believe the difference.

If you have a Xbox One or PS4, you will see a drastic difference as well. I play Destiny on Xbox One, and it looks amazing. One thing you will have to do with FPS or action games is switch over to game mode every time. Without this switch, you will notice a substantial lag that will make for a not so pleasant gaming experience. Once you switch over to game mode though it looks amazing. The vivid picture does change a little bit, but I’m sure it is to account for the refresh speeds.

I did an awful lot of research before buying a TV in this price range, and through all my reading I saw that Hight Dynamic Range (HDR) was critical to future-proof your investment, and this TV has it. The other model I looked very carefully at was the new Sony model in the same 55-inch set. Both had an amazing picture but the HDR coupled with the slightly better picture, in my opinion, I chose this model.

I know many people say there isn’t much 4K content out right now and that is somewhat true. But I have watched a fair number or blue rays the past two weeks, and they look stunning. I turned on the UHD upscale, and it creates a far better picture than my previous 50 inch LED 1080p TV. One that was particularly unusual was Lucy. The colours are so vibrant it’s hard to look away.

I hope this helps people looking at this TV and I am happy to answer any questions you might have as it is a significant investment for most and the technology can sometimes feel intimidating to some.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“I am so impressed with this television. This is our first smart TV purchase, and the first TV larger than 32″ ever purchased. But I have blown away. The best part, hands down is wifi capability. Built in apps, youtube, Amazon, Netflix, Vudu, and I am watching less and less cable. It allows you to make the most out of your other wifi capable access points. For instance, we have a PlayStation-how we used to watch Netflix and the like. Now we can connect that to a different television and have mostly two smart TVs. It is enormous. Huge, and looks elegant being so thin. Refresh rate, the number of ports, those sorts of things almost dissuaded me from this purchase. I am so glad it didn’t. This meets our needs and more. Very thrilled. I should mention that I had to request a replacement as the original item had a screen and pixel issues. The replacement was issued immediately, received in a few days. As always, Amazon customer service knocks it out of the park!” – Amazon’s Customer Review.
