The nuclear war drums are beating frantically, so it’s only logical to prepare for the worst. This is why the U.S. military just held a massive 6,000-person strong drill called Guardian Response to train the soldiers on how to respond in the aftermath of a nuclear attack.
The Guardian Response is part of Vibrant Response drill and was conducted at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Indiana on 27th April 2017. This included a multi-component training exercise run by the U.S. Army Reserve designed to train and inform nearly 4,000 service members working with the Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) for a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) catastrophe.
The pictures of the drill were released by the U.S. Army Forces Command showing U.S. Army Soldiers where the 51st Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Company, of Fort Stewart, Georgia were seen be scrambling in simulated disaster situations and following instructions on the adequate responses.

The military brought out all the heavy equipment, from cranes to excavator machines to remove the simulated rubble. Many soldiers were also seen personally digging and dragging stuck people from the piles of stones.
There was even an assembly line set up to clean up every survivor from of the nuclear and dust debris and a medical center set up to care the injured.
It looks utterly apocalyptic even in a simulation! Just hope we never have to actually see such gory scenes in our lifetimes.
