For someone who loves their pets, dogs are sometimes more humans than humans themselves. Ranking very high on the priority lists, these people can do anything for their pets. There is no denying that dogs are man’s best friends, so they do deserve all that VIP treatment. You can get your pet samurai armors, toys, treats, and even their own little dog houses. To some people,  that is just not enough to deal with the royalty that their dog is, so Hecate Verona, a UK company is offering dog mansions that can cost up to $200,000.

The hardwood floors of the mansions are made of beech, oak, and larch while the walls and columns are made out of marble and dolomite. The houses feature automated food and water systems, treat dispensers, TV, sound system, and indoor and outdoor lighting. Well, basically everything that some of us do not even have in our human houses. Since you are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for these, you can expect much more luxury from this. The prices for these lavish pet homes begin at $40,000 and go as high as $200,000.

The development of the Hecate Verona dog mansions began about three years ago and the Creative Director at the company, Alice Williams says that it was to answer the questions like, “Why wouldn’t a dog house be as elegant and beautiful as its owner’s? Why shouldn’t an architect design a house for the dog? What if it could be beautiful, stylish and also practical? What if it had miniature engravings, windows, doors, etc. all in proportion with the dog house? Why is it that during a time when a dog is considered to be a family member can’t a dog also have its own dog mansion equal to its owner’s, where he can lie comfortably when outdoors?”

Hecate Verona has not launched the mansions officially yet, but the photos that have been revealed show the fulfillment of the idea that Williams explained, “Our objective was to create a majestic and royal looking dog manor which seeks to complement the garden and its surrounding in which it stands.”

The development took three years as the company ran different tests on different breeds during the design and construction, also consulting experienced veterinarians to make sure that the living space has everything to fulfill the dog’s needs. Luxuo reports, “The living space has been divided into a bedroom and living room, with the latter giving a good panoramic overview of the surroundings. Windows have been lowered accordingly to the dog’s height which gives the dog a clear view of the surroundings and its territory.”

The exquisite dog mansions have been designed and manufactured by craftsmen experienced in yacht building that give attention to the most minute details. If the customers wish to work with the designers to incorporate their own ideas, the company welcomes it. Once the design is complete according to the client’s need, the house goes into production.

As far as the features go, some of us will be envying the inhabitants of these dog mansions and naturally their owners as “it controls the automation of lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning while ensuring interaction with your pet for you. Internet-enabled cameras and screen allow for communication at any time or distance.” There is also a conference call system allowing the dog and the owner to communicate whenever they want.”

The orders for the luxury mansions will open this month, and as the construction takes about 2-4 months, they will be delivered right after.
