“Bought this cover for my in-ground fire pit in our backyard here in Arizona. If you have a permanent built fire pit on your patio etc., this will fit it perfectly. The cover pits over the top pavers and tightens down good with the two pull strings with thumb locks. As far ad, the leg straps they can neatly tuck underneath and makes a clean look, see attached photo. We just had a severe dust storm roll through with 40 miles per hour winds, and it barely moved in the wind, so the vents work well. The real test is when the monsoon rains hit so it can keep our gas fire pit nice and dry. I think this is a great buy.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“The reviews for this cover were mixed, so I debated whether to get it or not and have been pleased with it so far. I have not had any problems with it tearing as some people have and the material seems to be good quality. It does fit snugly on the fire pit, which is what I wanted so it wouldn’t blow off in heavy winds. As for the reviews that say that this will melt, uh, yes, it’s plastic, so it is going to melt if you put in on a fire pit. That’s not the fault of the cover; that one is on you.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“I used to have a tarp to cover my firepit. While it seems to be the cheapest alternative at first, in the long run, I found that they are falling apart just after one year, besides they don’t look good. Finally, I decided to purchase a proper cover (Duck Covers brand). Fortunately, it was delivered fast enough to arrive right before the new bunch of rains, which put the cover for a test for a few days. I was pleased to find the inside of the firepit to be bone dry. The seams are made by glueing or thermal welding, so no danger of rain coming through them. I do not know how well the fabric is breathable; it seems quite dense, but no condensation inside so far. I like how it looks on my firepit, definitely better than a tarp, the picture is attached. Note that I got the size of the cover notably bigger than the fireplace. As for my experience the sizes of the sheets usually run on the smaller side, so better to get bigger. Time will tell how well this cover lasts against Southern California sun and rain.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

The cloth is made from elegant, water-resistant fabric with elastic hem cords which allow you to tighten the cover as you please. The padded hems allow easy fitting and removal. “The cover is perfect for my round firepit. I discovered after purchasing the medium 42″ cover. I found out that the measurement of the item is the same diameter of the cover and not the size of the firepit that it will cover as stated by the manufacturer. The large cover at 60″ includes my 42” firepit allowing room for the mesh dome and to fit like the pictured item.

The cover seems to be a thick gauge material. I just got this cover to protect the firepit during the Midwest winter and snow and time will tell if it holds up as expected.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.
