“I like this toothbrush and here are the reasons why. One thing I love is how long it stays charged, my other toothbrush I was charging weekly. This brush I have used for weeks, without needing to re-charge it again. I also like the feature of picking what type of cleaning I want to do, Whitening, Clean, etc. I also like that the toothbrush has a built in timer that shuts the brush off, once you have reached the two-minute mark. I do believe that this toothbrush gets my teeth cleaner than the other type of brush that I was using.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“I never knew I so lacked in my teeth brushing abilities. Of course, my dentist did. And I have the cavities to prove it. The way it works, I know hold the brush steady on saying my top left teeth there at the gum line, then just steadily move the brush along applying the proper amount of pressure and let it do the work. Then I go over the top of those teeth, and the back-side. And then to white my teeth. I do two full turns to my front teeth, again starting at the gum line and just slowly moving it across to let it “scrub and penetrate.” I do this for both the tops and bottoms, using a little baking soda on the brush. My teeth are FAR whiter and cleaner than they’ve ever been.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“Love this! My husband and I had Sonicare, but my husbands kept breaking. So he took over mine, and I ordered this! It looks great but works even better. I never felt like the Sonicare did a good job cleaning. I can tell this one is doing its job. I also love that the power button is separate from the mode button and you don’t have to push the button multiple times to get what you want. The quadrant timer is clear, so you know when to switch. “I have been using a Broxident corded toothbrush for over 50 years. My last one was glued together with hot glue and when I needed a new toothbrush I got the hot glue gun out and glued on another brands toothbrush because you haven’t been able to buy a replacement for 20 years. I just got this thing today because my wife finally convinced me my Old Faithful was beyond repair. Man, this thing is great. Since I’m used to an electric toothbrush, it isn’t much of a transition but boy what a difference. The reviews on this toothbrush convinced me to save a few bucks, and if it lasts a couple of years, it will be a bargain. Since it has a rechargeable battery, I don’t think I can plan on another 30 years like my Old Faithful, but my teeth certainly feel cleaner. Welcome to the 21st-century old man.
I highly recommend this product unless it quits working shortly. Hopefully, I will remember to update it after I use it a while longer. Hopefully, I’ll keep you posted.
It is now the middle of September I love this toothbrush. Still using the first brush no noticeable decline in effectiveness. Happy with this purchase.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“As a general dentist with over 30 years of experience, I see the benefits that Sonicare toothbrushes have on my patient’s oral health. Less adhered bacteria translates into less gum disease, tooth decay, and tartar builds up. My previous Sonicare used the diamond clean brush heads and failed after four years. The Essence employs a more hygienic brush handle base which does not accumulate toothpaste scum as did my previous model.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“Don’t bother with all the expensive Sonicare models that have buttons and settings you’ll never use. By this simple version an excellent product and brush your teeth. If you need a massage setting, see a professional.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.
4. Waterpik Electric Tooth Brush ($75.99)
This is Waterpik’s sonic toothbrush and water flosser. The unit effectively removes plaque and debris from between the teeth and from the pits of your mouth. It works efficiently below the gumline where brushing and traditional flossing can’t reach. It has a high volume reservoir and faster bristle speed. Has small base area; a space saver. Just fill the reservoir with water, point the tip at your gumline and floss. Perfect for anyone with braces, implants, crowns, or periodontal pockets.
“No complaints. This was easy to set up and start using. It does take a little while to get used to using the water flosser if you haven’t used one before, and honestly, it’s easy to get the whole bathroom wet with this thing. The instructions say to “just let the water flow freely out of your mouth,” but when I try that, some water tends to stream down the handle and onto my hand and then down my arm and often down my leg. Maybe I’m not doing it right. In any case, it will get your teeth and gums clean, and the brush is excellent, too. The travel case is nice, and the battery will last a couple of weeks. Perfect for all but the longest trips away from home. For the money, this was a great deal.
UPDATE: I just want to add that now that I’ve had this a while, I find it almost indispensable. I have noticed now that beyond the routine morning/night use, I find myself regularly using this for a quick but thorough rinse after meals, snacks or coffee. There’s no better way for getting pieces of a salad, or nuts or other little items that get easily wedged in your mouth. Just an excellent, quick cleaning feel. Also, I’ve gotten better about not spraying the whole bathroom, You do have a pause button on the handle, but you need to press it firmly to suppress the water flow, otherwise, it will leak. One other note, I’ve seen some reviews have mentioned that the reservoir runs out too quickly. I have not noticed that issue at all, for what it’s worth. Anyway, great product and I are very glad I bought it.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.

“Is this the best electric toothbrush ever? No. But it’s an absolutely *fantastic* toothbrush for the price. This is my second of these – I got it on sale a couple of days ago – and I have to say that it’s value even at the regular price.
It cleans well, and it is itself easy to clean. There isn’t anything else you’d need. The more expensive ones have other programs or options, but this cleans as well as any of them. Recommended.” – Amazon’s Customer Review.
