Cars look very fascinating when they are put into sculptures. Not to mention, a YouTube channel named “Woodworking Art” has recently posted a video on its YouTube channel which depicts the marvelous framing of a Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing into a wooden arrangement. In previous times, this was the most efficient way of developing a car into the expected designed model to see how it would look after manufacturing. The whole process depicts the startling transformation of a reality-based car into a wooden frame with close attention to detail. The car has been made out of two huge blocks of wood, which were then metamorphosed into its desired parts.
The author of the channel has perforated the doors, wheels, and roof of the car according to the exact model of the Gullwing. The drilling of the whole-body shape of Mercedes and then transforming it into a masterpiece is the next level of art. Moreover, he has fabricated the six-slant engine of the car, its bends, and the design of its wiring. Everything was done so perfectly. Similarly, the way he managed to make the hollow-shaped roof of the Gullwing is exemplary. We can also see from the picture shown below that the name “Mercedes-Benz” has been engraved on one of its doors.
The assembling of the doors is the most interesting part of the whole video. This is a skill that not everybody possesses, and those who do can only do justice to this work. The video illustrates how the emblematic composition of these grand doors is done. Struts handles and latches were utilized to stand up the entire structure of them with an accurate assumption of mathematical parameters and the line of units attached. Coupled with this, the steering wheel, seats, and chrome black mirror sheets are mounted on the front and back sides of the car. Then again, the tires, along with the whole interior setup, look mesmerizing. The color combination and the material fabricated on the seats are just on point. Last but not the least, making everything by hand and just up to the mark is definitely commendable.
