The five-star Rosemont Hotel will be another addition to the exotic list of out-of-the-world entertainment options available in Dubai. It will be the first hotel in the world with its own rainforest.
The Rosemont Hotel & Residences is set to complete in 2018 and will cover a whopping 2 million square feet encompassing a residential area, hotel, an artificial beach, an entertainment area, and a glass-bottom pool suspended above the streets.
The Rosemont Hotel is being designed by the ZAS Architects. The 47-storey twin towers will house the hotel and the apartment building.
The entertainment space, including the rainforest covering 7500 square feet, will be located in the podium at the base of the two towers.
The ambitious project will cost an enormous $550 million.
The designers aim to transform the arrival experience of the guests itself by transforming the drop-off points into a large aquarium or a rainforest using dynamic 3D projections. The robotic concierge will welcome the customers into the futuristic hotel.
The guests could enjoy and get playful in the on-site bowling alley, laser tag arena, or the trampoline park.
The main attraction of the Rosemont hotel, the artificial rainforest will sit atop the five-storey podium and will include details like sensory rain system, a sand-less beach, waterfalls, a rainforest café, a splash pool, streams and a ‘prehistoric Jurassic-inspired marsh’. The rainforest will mimic the actual climate of a rainforest system using specially designed systems.
The glass bottom infinity pool will offer a panoramic view of the Dubai skyline. Starry lighting will coat the bottom of the Skypool.
Hilton Worldwide will operate the hotel under the Curio brand.
