WATCH: Drivers Allegedly Racing To Car Meet Wreck Each Other In 8-Car Pileup

Another day, another careless driving case resulted in a massive car accident. On the way to a local car meet in Atlanta, Georgia, eight cars got into an accident that included some of the most well-known reckless driving offenders. A Toyota GR Supra, an Infiniti Q60, a BMW 3-Series, two Ford Mustangs, and three Dodge Challengers were among the vehicles involved in the accident.

While a group was traveling to the Caffeine & Octane event in neighboring Kennesaw, Georgia, the accident occurred on I-285 in Atlanta. The video posted on social media by GA Followers Official does not appear to provide all the specifics of the crash. Nevertheless, Downshift Mafia, an additional fan organization based in Georgia, uploaded a video to Instagram that provides further details about the crash. The Toyota appeared to be slowing down behind a queue of traffic when the Mustang failed to stop the GR Supra, which led to a rear-end accident and a resulting pileup. The Supra veered into a nearby lane to avoid colliding with the leading vehicle.

The convoy heading to the monthly meet also included a Charger and a Camaro, but they were able to avoid the collision. After a white Mustang GT rear-ended the GR Supra, the other cars were not as lucky and sustained damage from blows to blows. A black Mustang even turned perpendicular to oncoming traffic due to the incident. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem like anyone was seriously hurt in this incident.

Commenting on the crash video, eyewitnesses stated that the eight vehicles were “aggressively weaving through heavy traffic.” Although state police have not confirmed it, there have been indications that the cars were used for street racing. The video shows that some drivers were not paying attention to the nearby traffic, a frequent problem at auto meets where people frequently choose speed over safety.

As one might expect, the jokes practically write themselves: instead of “…a priest and a rabbi walk into a bar…” it’s more like “…a Mustang, Challenger, and BMW run into a Supra.”
