These little dinkies might seem like some sort of average toy cars, but believe it or not, these three classic Porsche cars have an estimated worth of $10 million!
The car trio is owned by actor/comedian Jerry Seinfeld, and the renowned car nut is planning to put them under auction in March.
The yellow 1974 911 Carrera 3.0 IROC RSR has an estimated worth of $1.2million-$1.5million, the blue 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder is worth $5million-$6million, while the green 1958 356A 1500 GS/GT Carrera Speedster is close to $2million-$2.5million
The auction will take place at the Amelia Island Auction in Florida via the prestigious Gooding & Company classic car auction specialists.
The cars are currently displayed at the Scottsdale Auctions in Arizona.
Gooding & Company President David Gooding said:
“Jerry’s keen eye for significant Porsches, the care and pride he takes in maintaining his spectacular collection and his enthusiasm and passion for the Porsche marque, makes this one of our most thrilling sales in our company’s history.”
Seinfeld has been known for the love of cars, but he claimed that he never bought anything in his collection as means of an investment. He said that his purchases have always been focused on the fact that he “loves cars.”
“I still love these cars. But it’s time to send some of them back into the world, for someone else to enjoy, as I have.”
