Many of us may not have heard of Strand Craft or it’s recent production line. The American company is a designer and manufacturer of classic-style boats. Among their most recent products is a line of superyachts that will make even the wealthiest of people drool. The Strand Craft superyachts are the ultimate rich man’s toy.
The Strand Craft 122 is one of the most beautiful (and expensive yachts) on the market today. The 38 meter open, high performance superyacht comes with an Art Deco interior that can be personalized to meet the client’s requirement. The inside of the 122 includes 4 staterooms, a reception and even a salon area. With a 14000 horsepower engine, the superyacht is able to reach a top speed of 55 knots (about 63mph), which is very impressive for a sea-traveling vessel.
What’s even more impressive is the amazing accessory that comes with the superyacht. The 122 Tender is the world’s first supercar to be designed with a superyacht. The body of the car was styled by drawing inspiration from automotive classics such as the 1957 Ferrari Tesstarossa and 1957 Chevrolet Corvette to create a modern classic that deserves to be called the world’s most extravagant accessory. The looks are not the only amazing thing about the 122 Tender. With a 800 horsepower, 6 liter V12, the car is able to go from zero to 60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds and goes on to a top speed of 208 mph.
Owning the 122 Tender will be a reason enough for some to buy the entire 122 package. But with a price of £17 Million and a limited production of only six units, not many people will be able to own the ultimate symbol of extravagance. Luxury comes with a price, and the Strand Craft 122 proves that without any shadow of a doubt.
I like it.
