Who doesn’t like eating at McDonald’s? We are sure all of you have eaten there and have had fun times. However, are you aware that floating McDonald’s restaurants were actually once a thing? Yup, it is true.
There was one located at near the Archway in St. Louis and the particular one that we will be talking about comes from British Colombia at north of US-Canadian border. As of now, it is completely abandoned and floating in Burrard Inlet close to Vancouver.
The McDonald’s Barge, McBarge, was built for Expo86 and was shut down shortly afterwards. Check out the video and let us know what you think of this abandonment and what do you think can be done with this McBarge?
I want to fix that thing up and make it into a floating home! Barge life son!
Floating gold mine she is, could be used for weddings, family holiday home, floating restaurant, floating night club, floating casino. Opportunities is endless.
