This Rapper Claims To Have Implanted Gold Chains Into His Head – And The Result Is Quite Interesting

Guess his head is “digging the gold” now, eh?

Dan Sur, a Mexican rapper that most of you probably have never heard of before this news, has gone viral on social media after he went through a drastic physical transformation. And no, he didn’t get a weird tattoo on his face, or a gold tooth, he just got metal gold chains implanted into his real head. No biggie. SAY WHAT NOW?!

It seems like being weird is the new trend on the internet lately as people would do anything (and I mean, ANYTHING) to take the spotlight. With so many new artists and Instagram singers, its hard to get noticed until you do something crazy. Dan Sur decided to use his head, literally, and get all the attention he could by replacing his natural locks with gold chains implanted right into his skull. Jokes aside, how will he pass through airport security now without replacing his head?!

The 23-year-old musician told his 2 million TikTok followers, “The truth is that I wanted to do something different because I see that everyone dyes their hair. I hope not everyone copies me now.” According to the rapper, the several dozen chains hanging from his head are actually implanted under the skin and into his skull (this probably won’t stop sounding weird every time I say this) although this could very well be a publicity stunt and the magic of super glue. “I have it as a hook that is implanted in my head and that hook has hooks and they are all hooked in my skull, under my skin”, Dan Sur said in another video. Sure, that sounds totally believable.

Apart from gaining attention from random people on the internet, Dan’s bizarre implants also caught the eye of some doctors who didn’t approve this procedure at all (shocking) because of the high risk of infection as well as permanent scarring to his head. If you do want to copy Dan’s hairstyle (we’re not judging), just do yourself a favor and weave some gold strands into your hair instead, it’ll be a lot cheaper and less painful.
