This Is The World’s First Bike With A Mind Of Its Own – Powered By ChatGPT

Urtopia, a cutting-edge company in the cycling industry, has come up with a solution for your long and lonely bike rides. At EUROBIKE 2023, Urtopia made a big impression by introducing the world’s first e-bike integrated with ChatGPT, an AI chatbot developed by OpenAI that is currently very popular.

According to a press release, Urtopia’s smart e-bike is an excellent companion for riders, providing real-time assistance through ChatGPT and Urtopia’s voice recognition features.

The company calls it “the bicycle with a mind” and claims that it adds excitement and joy to every journey. The e-bike is equipped with advanced technology like GPS navigation, anti-theft measures, safety features, and data recording capabilities, ensuring a secure and enjoyable cycling experience for riders of all skill levels.

Urtopia’s e-bikes also integrate with popular platforms like Apple Health and Strava, opening up new possibilities for cyclists. Thanks to the integration with iWatch health data, riders can monitor their heart rate while cycling.

The bike listens to this data and automatically adjusts power compensation, providing users with a better exercise experience and longer riding distance.

Through a partnership with Strava, riders can easily share their cycling activities on social media and showcase the carbon credits they earn. This is intended to encourage more people to choose cycling instead of polluting forms of transportation.

Urtopia’s commitment to smart features and environmental sustainability caught the attention of renowned industrial designer Hartmut Esslinger. Together with the cycling company, Esslinger unveiled the Urtopia Fusion at EUROBIKE 2023.

The Urtopia Fusion is a highly anticipated e-bike with a full carbon fiber body weighing less than 20kg. Its stylish industrial design and all-road adaptability led Esslinger to compare it to “the iPhone in e-bike.”

The integration of ChatGPT allows riders to ask the bike for directions to a coffee shop or local bike shop and engage in conversation on any topic, as shown in a promotional video. However, the robotic and artificial voice in the video may improve as more users embrace the chatbot and the company refines its offering.

Following in the footsteps of Mercedes Benz, Urtopia is offering ChatGPT integration to its customers. The German automaker announced the addition of the chatbot to its MBUX multimedia system.
