Landing an airplane is perhaps the most tricky part of flying. Especially when you are landing on a moving ship. Captain William Mahoney of US Marines faced a difficult situation when he came to land on USS Bataan, the front landing gear of the Harrier wouldn’t come down. The flight deck crew abroad the ship came with an ingenious idea. They placed a steel stool and the pilot skilfully landed the airplane with the help of this steel stool.
