This Ethiopian Engineer Made A Cool Homemade Plane

Ethiopian man's DIY plane

Asmelash Zefaru, an Ethiopian engineer, had always dreamed of making his plane. Unlike other people who don’t transform their dreams into reality, Zefaru went to work in October 2013 and had to work tirelessly for his passion for one and a half years. The result is a cute little plane that looks great. It seems air-worthy too!

The plane was made of metal, wood and Aluminum, and he intends to take a first test flight on 11 June this year. He claims that the top speed of the aircraft is around 182 Kph, and it can reach a maximum height of 3,000 feet. Take a look at the cool fuselage and other parts of the plane.
