Welcome to the small state in Northern Mexico that is known by the name of Querétaro. It has always been the focal point of revolution and creation, being the locality of early Independence movement and also the location where the modern Mexican constitution was created. It is this spirit that has been embodied by Vitium Moto, named after the state’s capital.
What is Vitium Moto? Simply put, it’s the name given to a group of energetic builders that come together for creating peculiar and unique motorcycles that are able to start new trends of their own. Vitium Moto creates pieces that speak of individuality and don’t care about judgement that is being passed down from others.
The latest build from Vitium Moto entails this non-conformist attitude. The team actually wanted to come up with a motorcycle that was perfectly comfortable in its own skin and didn’t conform to the rules imposed by society. The latest build by the group relied on a donor bike, an off-road 2009 KTM 450 SMR.
The secondary sub-frame was created along with an original fuel tank, a new retro-style cushioned seat, a new belly pan and the final comfort touch was imparted via a modern carbon fiber cowl.
The bike relies on a stock 450cc single cylinder engine. The engine breathes with a Keihin MX FCR 41 carburettor. An Akrapovi exhaust assists in reducing weight. Other specs of this amazing bike include a K&N filter, off-road Renthal bars that feature LED indicators, a headlight from Harley, Rear and front shocks with huge 310mm and 280mm travel, Beringer front disc brake, Brembo disc and caliper, aggressive Shinko Trail Master E705 tires and a Motogadget Vintage speedo. It was completed with a conventional KTM colorway of white, orange and black.
