There were rumours that Samsung and Apple devices might be adopting the triple-camera setup in the future. Another rumour has surfaced claiming that the iPhone X Plus and Samsung Galaxy S10 will both have the triple camera setup on the back.
Kim Dong-Won, an analyst from KB Securities predicted about Galaxy S10 that “Samsung, which has a lower-than-expected demand for its latest Galaxy S9 lineup, will consider to equip its next premium phone with the triple cameras and a 3-D sensor to reinvigorate its smartphone business.”
For the iPhone X’s prediction, the report doesn’t give us much except for the statement, “One of Apple’s next premium smartphones, reportedly named as the iPhone X Plus, is also anticipated to come fitted with three camera lenses on the rear.”
Even though we know what the triple camera setup looks like thanks to Huawei’s P20 Pro that came out in March, we will have to wait another year to see the same in Samsung and Apple devices. The Galaxy S10 is expected to be released in the spring of 2019 and the iPhone in the fall of 2019.
This camera setup provides stunning results that have been shown in the P20 Pro and it will be worth the wait to see how the two tech giants make improvements in a system that already has amazing results.
