Additionally, the Jesko Absolut broke another record by going from zero to 400 km/h and back to zero in 27.83 seconds, 0.98 seconds faster than the Regera’s record from 2023. These achievements cement the Jesko Absolut as the fastest production car in its category.
The Jesko Absolut’s record-breaking performance was not limited to a single run. On June 27, during tests at an airfield in Örebro, Sweden, the supercar set another benchmark by reaching 400 km/h in a mere 18.82 seconds. It also claimed the record for the fastest acceleration to 250 mph, achieving the feat in just 19.2 seconds. These milestones highlight Koenigsegg’s relentless pursuit of speed and precision.
These extraordinary records came under the expert guidance of Koenigsegg’s factory test driver, Markus Lundh. The meticulous testing showcased not only the car’s capabilities but also the precision engineering behind every aspect of its design.
Jesko Absolut has a 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, capable of producing an impressive 1600 horsepower on E85 gasoline. It is paired with Koenigsegg’s innovative Light Speed Transmission (LST), a nine-speed gearbox featuring seven clutches for lightning-fast shifts and optimal performance.
