Law enforcement workers usually have to work in scenarios where they are working undercover. In such scenarios one requires protection, however, it doesn’t need to look too obvious. BulletSafe is a company that is in the business of making bulletproof vests since 2013 and has recently come up with a Bulletproof Hat. The hat provides protection in a subtle fashion without making the protection function look too obvious.
The impact from a bullet will obviously do damage and chances are that the victim would still get a concussion since the force of bullet is not completely diminished. In comparison, a concussion is much better as opposed to getting hit with a bullet in the head.
The hat sports a base model that comes in 3 different sizes and has been modified to contain a BulletSafe ballistic pad located in its 2 front panels. There are a total of 6 panels. The developing team believes that BulletSafe hat is capable of stopping rounds from handguns that make use of 9mm, .40 and .38 caliber rounds. BulletSafe is currently raising funds on Kickstarter with a total goal of raising $3,500 and almost a month is left before the campaign ends. Interested users can order it for a pledge of $99 and slated delivery date is November 2015. So would you buy one?
