Tesla is all set to add another sweet ride to their electric car inventory, however, the only information so far released by Tesla is that Tesla Model 3 will be released in 2017. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, gave some more information when he stated that the Tesla Model 3 will come with a price tag of around $35,000 and shall be built on a new platform.
He also stated that the car will be able to cover a distance of 320 km and shall have performance comparable to the Model S. It is very likely that the Tesla Model 3 shall be aiming to compete with BMW 3 or 4 series and with the success that Model S has had, we are pretty sure that it will be able to capture most of the market share for the cars that range between $30,000-50,000.
You’ll find a lot of images but Tesla has sanctioned none of them yet so we guess we are left to make use of our imagination until Tesla releases visuals and other details about this particular model. We believe that this next model will be lighter and quicker and somewhat smaller as compared to Model S and we are quite sure that if it turns out to be anything like the Model S, Tesla sure is about to sweep the market away with another wonderfully engineered electric car.
