This one is a revolutionary idea! This hotel in Dubai will have rooms that will feature both sunrise and sunsets from the same window. The Dynamic Tower Hotel will be the world’s first skyscraper that will rotate 360 degrees. It has been in the works since 2008 and will finally finish in 2020
Each independently rotating unit will be a part of the 1375-foot tall, 80-storey building, pivoted around the structure’s concrete center with a voice command controlled capability. The building is also completely self-powered, thanks to the 79 horizontal wind turbines between each floor, along with solar panels on the roof.
The Dynamic Group’s website claims that this landmark skyscraper will offer a ‘wellness experience’ unlike anything ever before.
‘Indeed, it will no longer be a ‘hotel’ but a new product in line with today’s life,’ the group’s website says. ‘How many stars? This ‘hotel’ will be beyond stars.’
The site adds:
‘This dynamic experience will offer exclusive services, luxurious accommodation and facilities for the traveller with the most cutting-edge technologies, whether for business or leisure.
‘Dynamic Hotel’ will choose from spacious luxury suites offered by excellently appointed deluxe rooms and the benefit of exceptional service delivered by one of the world’s leading hospitality companies.’
The 80-storey £355-million hotel also offers people to buy some of the units and turn them into apartments, which would cost $30 million each.
The Israeli-Italian architect, ‘David Fisher’ came up with the design nine years ago claiming that
‘the motionless state of today’s houses does not reflect people’s actual lives, where everything is constantly changing’.
He was excited by the idea of rooms following the sun or the wind to
‘adjust to their tenants’ life and mood,’
which leads to this astonishing concept becoming a reality.
The building will be made using prefabricated rotating units to be assembled inside the structure’s concrete center. They will take only six days to assemble once the permission is granted and the concrete structures are ready, according to Fisher.
Each of the towers will have their swimming pools, gardens, and lifts for cars allowing the people to park their cars outside their flats.
Fisher is also planning to create similar buildings in Moscow, London, Milan, Paris, Rome, New York and Miami.
We’re sure that this futuristic building would make The Jetsons proud.
