Remembering India’s Greatest Engineer – Life of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam In Pictures

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam died yesterday during a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management-Shillong (IIM-S) at around 6:30 pm and was rushed to the Bethany Hospital there.
Kalam served as president of India for 5 years since 2002. He is also called the Missile man of India for his contributions to the Indian defence. He also played a critical role in the Indian space program during 1960’s. He is also responsible for driving India into the 21st century in the field of science and technology.
