Every year in the UK, over 19,000 cyclists are involved in accidents. Volvo says the best way to survive a crash is not to crash so they have created LifePaint. Volvo has partnered with UK based ad agency Grey London and Swedish startup Albedo100 to develop this innovative paint.
LifePaint is a unique reflective safety spray; invisible by daylight, it glows brightly in the glare of headlights, making the invisible, visible. This new product can be vital to one’s safety. LifePaint washes off, and will not affect the color or surface of your chosen material. It lasts for approximately one week after application.
Though designed for safer cycling, LifePaint has many other applications. It could be applied to clothes, shoes, helmets, strollers, children’s backpacks, and even dog’s leashes and collars. Supplies are limited as Volvo is only offering LifePaint in six London, and Kent area bike shops right now, and availability will depend on how well it is accepted.
