Life on a naval carrier is full of highs and lows – just like tides in the sea. A typical naval carrier houses between 5,000 – 6,000 people who eat, sleep, work, relax and party onboard. About half of these people are responsible for flying and maintaining the aircrafts while the other half are responsible for maintaining and sailing the aircraft carrier. Due to it’s gigantic size and human activity, they are rightly called “city at sea”. The flight deck, hangar and fantail offer wonderful views which are a sight to behold. However, due to the dangers present on the deck, only a handful of sailors and officers are allowed to go on deck during operation. Today we have compiled a list of photos to give you an idea of how life is on a naval aircraft carrier.
