We all have those days when we simply cannot gather enough energy to get out of bed. And technology is what spoils us into being even lazier. The newest addition to such technological gadgets designed for one of those lazy energy deprived days, is the ‘Lazy Desk’ designed in Japan.
Lazy Desk has been specifically designed by a Japanese Company for all those laptop users who would prefer being able to use their computers while lying in bed or maybe a couch. Sanko’s Lazy Desk promises you full safety for your machine and is equipped with a strap and rubber hooks to hold your computer in place and to keep it from falling.
Occasionally referred to as the ‘Super Upward-Looking Dozing Desk‘, this specially designed table allows you to adjust it to any angle you desire using its three hinges, two legs and a lock to keep its position and angle firm. A cooling fan has also been added to it to keep your machine from over-heating even when the laptop is positioned on its surface on the desk or on your lap.
Undoubtedly, the concept is not entirely original, but this gadget definitely offers a much more subtle alternative relative to the ones commercially available nowadays. It works like the ErgoQuest Zero Gravity “workstations,” which gives you an extremely wide mobility range allowing you to work at your laptop in literally any position you want. However, Lazy Desk has the advantage of being more affordable in price and relatively simpler than the “dentist chairs” as we like to refer to the ErgoQuest Zero Gravityworkstations.
The ‘Lazy Desk’ or the ‘Super Upward-Looking Dozing Desk’ would cost you only 8,980 yen (about US$ 90) and is up for sale on Thanko. Being lazy is not all that bad if you know how to work with it. This is exactly why you need to consider getting yourself a ‘Lazy Desk.’
