However, clothing companies all over the country are doing everything in their power to curb this shortage by creating reusable cloth masks. Atsumi Fashion is a clothing company located in the city of Himi, Toyama Prefecture. It is going about this whole situation a bit differently because of its expertise. The company specializes in women’s underwear garments and is using its experience to make the most out of the situation.

The lace bra face mask began as a joke but the company didn’t count on the country’s hunger for sexy underwear and creativity. The prototype that was shown off by Atsumi Fashion was able to garner quite a lot of attention and people became invested in it when the company released a picture of a model and TV personality Aya Kondo wearing one. Soon enough, an entire collection was unveiled.

The lace bra face masks by Atsumi Fashion were made available to the public for sale on Saturday. It was priced at $14 and the accessory sold out moments later as shoppers swarmed in at the online shop, Lingerie Lab, and the storefront on online marketplace Rakuten.

The company was only offering 50 units for every color variant that included white, lime, aqua blue, pink, and black. However, a new batch of lace bra masks is currently undergoing production.
