Insanely Capable $209 AI Glasses Offer Real-time GPT Vision And A 14-Hour Battery

Tech innovation takes a fashionable turn with Looktech’s AI Glasses. Developed in collaboration with Wenzhou Moveup Optical Co. Combining cutting-edge AI with sleek design, these smart glasses promise functionality and flair.

Unveiling at CES 2025, Looktech AI Glasses offer a seamless blend of assistance and convenience. With affordability and customization options, they may soon become a must-have accessory.

The glasses run on advanced AI models, including GPT-4o, Gemini, and Claude, enabling a range of capabilities. As an audio/visual assistant, the glasses can identify objects, guide users with GPS, translate text in real-time, summarize meetings, and even assess food calories. A built-in AI assistant, Memo, evolves with user preferences, providing a personalized experience that rivals traditional tools like Alexa or Siri.

Activating Memo is easy, whether through a voice command (“Hey Memo”) or a simple tap on the frame. These glasses prioritize usability without sacrificing style or functionality.

Featuring a 13MP anti-shake camera, the glasses allow users to capture high-resolution photos and 2K videos with stability. An AI editor streamlines content sharing, while a camera indicator light ensures transparency, reducing privacy concerns often associated with wearable cameras.

Integrated smart functions include music playback, phone calls, and meeting transcription. The device even generates detailed summaries accessible via a companion smartphone app. With Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, and 32 GB of built-in storage, the glasses ensure robust connectivity and data management.

Looktech addresses privacy concerns by employing Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) for data protection. Interactions with ChatGPT are anonymized, and voiceprint activation ensures that only authorized users can access the glasses’ features.

The TR90 frames, reinforced with titanium alloy hinges, are lightweight, flexible, and durable. Weighing just 37 grams, the glasses combine toughness with comfort. Battery life stretches up to 14 hours, outpacing competitors like Meta’s Ray-Ban collaboration, which lasts a mere four hours.

Customization is a hallmark of Looktech’s offering. Frames come in various colors and sizes, while lenses are available in polarized, transition, and prescription options—at no additional cost. Buyers can even personalize their frames with engravings.

During the ongoing Kickstarter campaign, early adopters can secure a pair starting at $209 (40% off the $349 MSRP). An upgraded option with a portable charging case is priced at $240, with shipping expected by April 2025.
