This Artist Creates These Perfect Anatomical Human Organs Out Of Paper That Will Blow Your Mind

Art has a way to touch people like nothing else can, and this paper-cutting artist has taken the game to another level! Ali Harrison has perfect the art of hand cutting appropriately fragile human organs out of paper, with each piece entailing breathtaking intricacies and artistic involution.

The artist claims that she uses an x-acto knife to carefully carve out the creations from paper and produce the incredibly detailed re-imaginings of several human organs. She narrates her process on Bored Panda,

“To create each piece, I draw the outline of the organ, and begin cutting the inside free-hand with different patterns. I’m never sure what the piece will end up looking like when I start.

Once they are complete, they are brought to life by the abstract, organic patterns that form the shapes. Each piece takes anywhere from 20-60 hours to complete.”

The artist says that her shop offers hand-cut art pieces on order, along with laser cut reproductions in both paper and wood. And best of all, all earnings from the sales will go to Planned Parenthood for a limited amount of time!

Feast your eyes on her astonishing creations!
