Guy Uses Saved Bottle Caps To Make An Awesome Lounge Table

What do you do with beer caps? Chances are, like most of us, you just throw them away. Did you know the amount of work put in to design the bottle caps? Anyhow, Reddit user Komicman collected a total of 2,791 bottle caps and went on to construct a table that is beautifully patterned. The result is stunning and one of a kind. Check it out below and let us know what you think of it.

The Project kicked off with him working on the frame of table. 2×4 pieces made of wood were used and the table is 8 ft. long and 4 ft. wide.

Plywood was used for surfacing purpose.

Table was stained before he added bottle caps to the mix.

Design for the table was laid out then.

Bottle caps were arranged in a colorized and decorative pattern.

His school’s logo, the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears, was added at the center of the table.

The next step involved gluing the caps down for which he used Liquid Nails. Edges were sealed with bathroom caulk and the surface was covered with clear resin. Caulk was used to prevent any sort of leakage.

The pattern makes it easier to set up beer pong!
