Guy Builds A Cool Trash Can Using An Old Mac Computer

Are you sick of watching that old computer just lying around? Planning to get rid of it? Stop. Check out what this guy did to his old Mac instead of throwing it out.

The final product looks like this.

It features a swinging door of its own.

How was it made? First of all he removed all of the wiring.

He completely stripped the inside.

He even allowed the people to sign the can.

Next step involved the measuring of bezel.

He placed a flap instead of the screen.

He made use of basic hinges for making it swing.

Then he applied a strong adhesive for adding the support blocks.

The hinges were glued to the bezel after they were done.

Afterwards, he focused on building the actual base.

He made use of clamps and wood glue for keeping it all together.

Since he wanted the computer monitor to be secured on the top, he drilled out holes for the feet.

Having done that, the monitor was placed on top quite perfectly.

The bottom of the monitor was taken out.

He sanded the edges after the base setting was finished.

Time to paint!

Paint was applied ensuring that it matched the monitor.
