Google is tackling a lot of fields simultaneously and is busy making history. We have seen so much technological advances made possible by Google in recent past. One of the recent achievement by Google was the Google Glass, which will definitely become the next big thing. However, aesthetically speaking, the glasses still need more design inputs.
This is where Google did what any tech company seldom does; it partnered up with a luxury fashion brand, DVF. This collaboration’s results have come out with Google unveiling the first collection of fashionable Google Glass headsets. DVF names this collection as ‘your best accessory’ and has been a fan of Google Glass for quite some time now. DVF was the company behind introduction of augmented reality headsets in fashion industry back in 2012. Dian Von Furstenberg with her “Made for Glass collection” has finally incorporated her fashion and styling sense into Google’s tech gadgets.
The collection comprises of 3 new frames which will not just stand out in the crowd; they would be a fashion statement. We are looking at a pair of aviators, gray and elderberry colored glasses for librarian and 80s lookalike of reflective specs. Each pair costs about $1,620.
