This Father-Son Duo Builds Giant Transformers From Old Car Parts & They are Freaking Cool

“Transformers: The Last Knight” is coming June the 21st, and already Transformers fans are in a frenzy. While we all anxiously wait for the much anticipated classic to be released, why not preoccupy yourself with this sweet story of a father and son building giant metal Transformers using old car parts.

Farmer Yu Zhilin and his son Yu Lingyun started their metal-working shop in 2010 in Hunan province, China. Building a Transformer robot was the first project they undertook and completed the model within a month and a half.

But they decided to further scale the 7 feet model and managed to create a model as high as 50 feet. After that, the pair has gone from strength to strength and create works of art like giant birds and prehistoric animals as a testimony to their skill and creativity.

While this isn’t as impressive as the weapon-laden, fast moving transformers robot built in Russia, their efforts are nevertheless commendable.
