We have seen places being completely transformed and unrecognizable after being renovated. This is a similar case as a backyard was converted into a breathtaking pool.
A man and his son were tired of looking at bare dirt and patchy grass surrounded by a fence in their backyard and decided to do something about it.
The small patchy backyard was not much to look at but the duo had a plan of action and knew they could pull it off and convert it into a breathtaking pool.
They wasted no time and after setting up the initial plans, brought in a bulldozer to start digging.
They were still a long way from their goal after the digging was complete. It was time to move on to the next steps.
The next step was a stone walkway to enhance the charm of the project.
Natural pools or ponds don’t need a liner to keep the water in. But, this was not a natural pool and a liner was placed all across the ground.
Another layer of liner was added over the first to counter any leaks and materials were ordered specially from Germany.
A filtration system was added and placed in a near garage.
Next, the duo started working on the base of the pool with blocks of rock. They accepted help from a couple of their friends and completed the task in just 8 hours.
Water was pumped after all the rocks were in place and it started to look like the pool they were aiming to make.
Water was allowed to go over the edges and give it a pond like look.
Then they installed inside the pool to give it a shine even at night.
There were some delays as the weather become too cold to continue working.
Once the summer came back, they were nearing their goal and only had a short way to go.
The father and son decided to upgrade their plans and build a deck to further appreciate all their hard work.
The project was finally complete and their own breathtaking pool was ready for the family to soak up the rays of sunlight.
