Facebook is introducing a new feature called “Your Time on Facebook” in order to manage the time you spend on the social media platform. This app is aimed to be the solution for the people who spend way too much time on the website.
Facebook has confirmed the feature and said that it is in active development saying, “We’re always working on new ways to help make sure people’s time on Facebook is well spent.” The new tool will monitor how much time you spend on Facebook in the past week and average time per day.
You can set the time limit for your usage in the app and this feature will allow you to get over your social media and mobile phone addiction. Mark Zuckerberg earlier responded to the changes in News Feed by saying: “I’m changing the goal I give our product teams from focusing on helping you find relevant content to help you have more meaningful social interactions.”
