Elon Musk Reveals The Video Of Hyperloop Hitting 200 Mph

Elon Musk mentioned the idea of using pneumatic tubes as the fifth mode transport called the Hyperloop years ago, and it was only in 2013 that the first concept of it was published. In the next five years, we have seen various concepts and prototypes of the tubes, many in the competitions led by Elon Musk himself, right next to the SpaceX California headquarters.

The first ever Hyperloop pod competition was held back in January, where 27 teams from all over the world showcased the prototypes that they had created. The second one, held between August 25-27 just set up the record for the fastest Hyperloop pod to have run on the SpaceX tracks. The prototype developed by Warr, a team from the Technical University of Munich, Germany won the competition with their prototype that reached the top speed of 200 miles an hour.

Elon Musk later congratulated the team with a tweet and shared a video of the moving pod, reaching the finishing line at extreme speed:
